I’ve been knitting on my Trickery non-stop! I haven’t cheated at all much. I have two designs all planned out that just need to be knitted. I haven’t touched those. I woke up one morning with a new idea for padded fingerless gloves that would relieve wrist and hand strain at the keyboard. I haven’t started them. I have a burning desire to spin up a chain ply yarn (for absolutely no reason). I may have fondled some roving a bit but I didn’t start up with the wheel. I’ve ignored all that which is the only reason we are on Trickery Knit-along Part 4! I’m finishing up my center section. Woo-hoo!
Yes I’m fishing for a few at-a-girl’s here. I have a hard time not cheating on my projects with other, newer projects. Don’t get me wrong. Trickery is a fun project and very easy to take along with me. I do like knitting it and may knit another very soon. I have ideas about making it up in a thicker yarn. I wonder how many yards I would need to make this in a worsted weight? Hmm. Ya know, there is really only one way to find out.
Trickery Knit-a-Long Part 4
But I get ahead of myself. I need to finish up this one. While I’m at it. I thought I’d turn the camera on and tell you a little bit about the person who taught me that tricks and cheats are a good thing.
Love ya Mom! <insert cheeky grin here>
Hope you are having fun with our little KAL. If you want to start a Trickery, the pattern is for sale over on raverly. If you already making a Trickery… then where are my pictures?

PS, your Mom sounds great.
She is one of a kind. 🙂
Fun mom! Picture to come soon.
Here is my progress. I had to rip out a fair amount…had slipped the stitches in the wrong direction and it didn’t look good.
Well its looking great now! Those two colors are pretty wild together. its like looking at a illusion picture.
And thanks for the picture. I really do love to see how everyone’s is coming along.
I love your hair! And your mom is outrageous! But in a cool way
OMG my hair. Thanks. lol. My hair and all its frizzies is something I have to endure but so many people tell me it looks nice. Maybe everyone hates their own hair but I think I hate mine more than normal.
And mom is a pistol.
