So one of those Japanese crochet coasters got done. I like to live dangerously. All of my other WIPs are still WIPing along. But this one got done.
I sat under my OTTlight lamp while I worked on it so maybe it didn’t cost me any of my eyesight. I tried very hard not to squint.

very pretty. What is the size of the finished coaster?
Thank-you! Its about 5 inches square.
Gorgeous! I love the black edge. And I know exactly why this bit got done ๐
Thanks! It is a pretty little pattern and I do like working from charts, As for why this one got done and not the others (yet) I’m glad you know. Not sure that I do, lol.
Aww it’s gorgeous
Thanks!
Love it! Every once in a while I get an urge to do thread crochet. I have to break out the magnifiers. ๐
I hear ya. Those tiny stitches can be such a pain! I am happy I made the coaster though. I don’t think it will be part of a set. I think I worked that desire for thread crochet outa me.
